Well had a few visitors for the past few days. Thought they were up here to do some camping but bloody fed themselves better than I eat at home.... Done a few differant trips but like fishing, its hard to squeeze alot into a few days and when the action isnt on it isnt on...

Rumpy you appear to be getting out doing these man games with Jumpy a lot lately since you got married you seem to be out with the story teller more then you're with the better half.
Poor young Jed looks a bit down in the dumps in that shot jumpy,
BTW I like your utilisation of the square lure, saves time with individual lures.

Yung Jed was a champ out there in the end took him a day or so to settle in think he's going to be a champ

Spud even had to lock up Fed & the chookens cause Jed was going on a rampage with them

Been flat out running around
Found out what caused the blow out on trailer coming back from Burma GooWee & it stuffed up the spare rim as well.
Bloody bottom bolt vibrated out of the brake calipers
Had to get 2 new rims, Also got new set of wheels/tyres for the Navara
Last but not least my new BOOM BOOM STICK

This trip wasn't as eventfull as the last but still had alot of laughs
Spud the idiot was working night we got there & plic woke us in the morn when he got home we'd allready set up camp & had the fire going nic joined us for dinner that night only bad thing this trip was spudley got a new camera & i didn't really pull mine out @ all

Well peeps back to day wun we went out on a wild pig chase only prob ?? there wasn't any pigs
Ben 10 & Spudley were in the lead car [personally i think those 2 scared all the pigs away my fault 4got to give those 2 gallah's some IQ]

Thought we were looking good @ one point but Spuds mut was chasing a bloody roo

Back to camp for lunch think we went out ferreting that arvo & a bit of a spotlight that night.

No pics no more stories but couldn't 4get the last night there even if i wanted to still laughing thinking about it

Thought i'd introduce Spud & Nic to the fun sport of ketching quail alive tis a night time thing wun does with a spot light

You drive through the paddock slowly car spooks the quail into flight watch were it lands race over cant take your eyes off the landing spot little shits are to well camo'd

Originally did this with just bare hands then jerried a hand net saved hands from all the thorns
Anyways jumpus bagged the 1st 3 wittle quails but there was wun hu gave me the shits had to chase it all over the place the idiot must've thought it was a duck & i was bees

Anyways peeps thought it time i set my mutt Spudley out to ketch himself a quail what a laugh that was Nic & i were in the ute pissing ourselves laughing watch baby patoto bigfoot runing around the paddock scaring the crap out of all the quail.

I eventually stoped laughing 3 hrs later & thought i better feed spud with some IQ on how it's supposed to be done hand brake on out the ute i went up to spud & told him you ninny
wise man stalk with soft heel, wise man no make more noise than an elephant he sort of got the message cause now he was dancing around the paddock like a gay fairy

We were cacking ourselves in the car esp when the spud finally nearly got one just about he had it right up till the time he fist pumped the sky & the quail flew away

Spud had had enough by now frustration had set in & it was up to mrs potato to show him up what a classic that was of all the people on this planet to show her how it was done she coped the Spud as a teacher whilst the Wise Man sat in the ute

Nic was stalking I was looking looking & more looking Spud was pointing to the quail Nic starts stalking stalking stalking i'm looking looking & more looking net goes out SUMO flop no quail flying away & i thought good girl time to pay out on Spud cause he still hadn't got wun yet but GUESS WHAT ?????????????????????????????????????????

Nic had a bum boofy woofy in the form of Spud who doesn't know the difference between a quail & a live ROCK
Yep Nic had netted her 1st rock

Chained Spud to back of ute after that & Nic got her 1st quail
But still no quail for spud he was whining on the back of ute & i felt sorry for him so uncliped the chain & let him have another go

Well with all the shitty weather the udder week i got bored & rang a mate up hu lives out woop woop just outside of Orange.

No rain out there so Da Man packed his mutt & took off twas time to see what the mutt had in him.
Scona my previous best mate was a bastard of a mutt but @ the same time the best gun dog i'd ever seen, not the sort of dog easily controlled would run off all over the place till he got that huge snozza of his working then he was a different dog all together a champ.

Jed well i was a bit dubious didn't think he had what it took but it's been 20 odd years since i've had a pup & prob expecting to much of the new mutt.

Allways @ my feet lost cout how many times i nearly tripped over him, very unsure of himself or what he was there to do.
Bastard loves the car & still a nighmare trying to get him out from his seat, i literally have to drag him out by the collar & wont come when i start to walk off, have to go back put him on the lease & drag him till we're clear of the car.

All that changed by the end of the trip & what a little champ he's turning out to be only prob i have now is the wittle plic eats more than Dave CATCH22 bastard never stops

Scona had a docked tail whereas Jed's tail is full length & it made me laugh watching it rattle @ 100 mhp esp the white tip, any shot where tip is blurred it's wagging @ 100 mph & he's on the scent.

That's why i took off solo with him this trip no distractions just me & the mutt to see what he could do.

Hope he dosen't grow out of it but he's exellent allways out in front now where he should be never once got more than 30 meters away from me unlike scona who'd be 1/2 a mile away @ times.

Just a word of warning, and I don't think you would do it, but if you let your dog loose on private property, it's likely to get shot. It's good that he doesn't get far away from you.
I know a few people on the land at Ophir ( outside of Orange ) and they shoot stray dogs on sight.
