hay chad if you are looking for that type of camera light weight, slim, and big pixel count go Canon power shot, there are none better in that type

http://www.canon.com.au/en-AU/For-You/Digi...PowerShot-Digit

as for the Nikon not much change out of a grand, that's with a few extras, the camera its self was $835 from Harvey Norman, fishwick store

Nice cam Poly. Now go get some good shots of it to post up. smile.gif

Hey Rummy go have a look at the Olympus range. There shockproof and waterproof cameras are great for the boat. Esp if your like me and have a bad habit of dropping things in water.

Sorry Poly but if you paid that much just for the camera you got robbed. As I have also being looking at a new camera and can get that for under $700.
But must admit they are a great camera and was almost tempted to buy, but anyhow I have been adviced by a m8 in the industry to sit back and wait for a new fuji that is coming out in about 2 mths . He has been trialing it for one of the big camera house's for about 6 mths and says for the money it will top most with a 12mp and 30x zoom with a price tag to be about $400.00 so will sit back.

I'm a point & shoot kind of guy and sometimes my pictures turn out OK too.
Has anyone got a pair of sunnycams I think they'd be great.
