Greetings earthlings !
Nanoo Nanoo ! Not a bad wooking day 2day so did sum ting different & did a BooBooWinkle Hey Wocky watch me pull sum Crabs out of my hat !  Still a bit early to get them in no's & all these came out of the same Hat That Twick Allways works In the meantime thought I'd try for some squiddy's inside the bay, hard yakka but I got a few & they were a wee bit big for the girly fish that were about. Contantly watched the rod tip bouncing on the Scotty2Hotty & the kungs had probs grabbing the squid let alone breaking the release clip. Thought I'd check the bait so brought it up closly followed by a school of around 20 girly fish [must've been on a Hens night out] Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ! Wot Tu Du ??????????? Quick tinking by Jumpus Da Goodarus saw me rig up the spin stick as a bait rod 6/0 hook wee wee ball sinker & a big lovely strip of squiddy. After that evlly time I saw the rod attached to the Scotty2Hotty start to bounce I'd feed the squid stip out. Did all right using this twicky wittle twick nailed 4 girly's all just under legal but good fun on the light gear they were fat sheila's to boot

It is fun & makes a good change from just catching fushy's all the time

Well collected the traps this morning
& nothing GooD arus in them. I read last night that they dont like the rain ( must give em a head ace ) Anyhow will try another spot next weekend. -------------------- insanity takes it's toll, I make sure I have plenty of spare change

Probably help if ewe attach an umbrella to the traps so the crabs dont get wet
 Dont tink rain would put them off Find that ewe just didn't drop traps where Bees had left his lucky Shimano undies !st time I droped hats was more to find where they were @ & only wun hat was successfull & had 3 crabs in it the others were empty Last time I cocentrated hats in that area & they all produced Moral of this story is to locate where Bees left his Lucky Shimano Undies DUCK Activity in an area is a GooDarus Indication

Listen to Jumpy, he really knows how to catch crabs!! Just ask him if he has the lotion to get rid of them, once they are located.. Otherwise your fishing trips may remain scratchy to say the least Yours in fishing, BK

So does the bait go on the bottom like this?

Thats it I dont tie bait have these s/s bait holders which go through the bait & attach to that wittle loop in nets bottom bit of nylon That wittle float on top of hat keeps net in position of your pic, so the moment crab sets foot on mesh it's a gonna, more it struggles more tangled it gets another reason to check nets frequently -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |
