Live Baiting 4 Bream Options

Mentioned it in another thread I'd put sum picks up of sum nice Brimski's a mate of mine had caught the other day.

He came around 2day for a visit & 2 have a looky @ my new goaty, dont have a pc @ my oldies place so we walked down a few houses to Toovlo's house & D/L'd the pics off his camera.

Toovlo had also been fushing for Brimski's recently the pics of fushy's on table are his

Twas good to chat away with Charlie about Brimski fushing & methods we agreed on just about everything except bait.

See I dont believe that this bait is better than that bait etc etc all I ever use is pillys & salted stripy if I have it I wont go out & waste my $$'s buying bloodworms etc etc

We did however agree that if ewe want to catch the really big Studus Maximus Brimus feeding out Live Kungys is the only way 2 go

Well the challenge was thrown @ me & looks Sunday is the day I'm fushing his spot in my boat & he'll be in his goat

ps] he dosn't know it yet but if looks like he's winning I've got scuba gear & will swim over under water like the wittle fishy's do & drill a hole in his goat

They were there, cant expect to catch fishy's if ewe only spend an hr @ a spot but after fushing it 4 the 1st time I can see good potential to throw sum lures there

tried live bread once, wasn't good i can tell you bloody drop bears kept jumping on it.

There's a trick to using live bread

Ewe need to leave it in the sun 10 minutes either side to lightly toast b4 feeding it out to the brimski's

Well i'm off got to get to Toovlo's place B4 Dave does else there wont be any food left

That's not you in that pic! Way to fat pal.. Monster bream though... They are still in the Hawkesbury Jumpus.. Just have to find them

Ewe pair of arseholes

Of course it's not me in pic, I've never owned a gut & back in those days I was all 6 pack sum ting the pair of ewes wouldn't know about

Guy in pic was a mate of mine who had a caravan @ Spencer still know where the brimski holes are just couldn't be bothered driving to woop woop to catch them.

Speaking of bringing back old memories it's been nearly 30 years since I've fushed off the stones & couldn't be bothered hooking up wun of the goats today so me & toovlo went rock hoping for squidies.

I wore those new booties I got the otherweek exellent grip on the stones, toovlo on the other hand & mind ewes he regulaly fushes the stones wore thongs the brurry irriot & I spent all day waiting for the idiot he was like an old women.

He took me to a spot which he reckons never misses, dont know wot happened today cause we only got a few & I nailed all of them & would've missed out on those had I not been wearing my polys.

No ewe bloody ninkompoopies noy 2 boats on my head I'm refering to my sunnys

Even with the wind rippling the surface I was still able to spot them & cast just behind resulting in hookups, not big squid by any means perfect LB size

And I couldn't help myself I'm a master @ aiming the squid @ peeps & making them empty their ink bags , I kid ewes not I got toovlo from 6 meters away inked all his arm & back

Looking at that pic of the big Hawkesbury bream, reminded me of the time I tossed in a line at the northern end of Capt Cook Bridge. Had fresh prawns and nippers as bait, but as usual, everything was undersize. Decided to eat the sandwich I had made, and pulled a piece of cheese off it. Moulded it into a nice lump and cast out. Before I finished the sandwich, the line took off and this was the result. I think it is the biggest bream I have landed to date.

Charlie was out again today cleaned up on the Brimski's & Wi Tings

Not as big as the wuns in pics but still all of a nice size

Had a walk on some sand flats in the Port. Lots of good sized whiting around. Time to have a flick with some of those poppers you got for me a while back, JG. Haven't caught any more on poppers, after the initial three, a while back.

Mind ewe I haven't fushed 4 yonks & I quite enjoyed the day out on the stones jigging for squiddies the ther day

Did build 2 rods just fr tossing wittle poppers wun 4 the boat & a slightly longer wun @ 7 ' 8" in case I ever wanted to go walkies afteter the fushy's

Yet to use either of them
