I think that Majed also gets a little too excited and does not play the fish too much.

Majed,
I recently changed to the improved clinch knot and have found that I get less lost hooks compared to a clinch knot. I spit on my fingers then lubricate the knot. Not into tasting bait and would not put the hook anywhere near my mouth as I guarantee just as I did it my kids would decide to play with their fishing rods. :o -------------------- Don't tell anybody but my name is Fushin Freddie
I don't exaggerate...I just remember BIG! |

I almost exclusively use the Uni knot and sometimes the snell knot.

The Uni-Knot can be used in so many applications which makes it a good one to learn and its really easy and strong..

for the clinch knot, or the improved clinch knot, I always use 7 twists and lubricate the knot...
If you dont lubricate the line the knots will cause damage, which creates a weak spot in the line.. stick the knot in ya mouth and spit all over it.. and ya get that lovley taste of bait in ya mouth! -------------------- Don't hate me, cause you ain't me... :)
