Yeah you can eat them and many Europeans still do ,,if prepared properly there not bad at all...My Grandmother is from Novisad near former yugoslavia and they knew how to prepare them properly...

My supervisor had some fed to him and he mention that they have a slight taste of mud. I guess you really need to know what you are doing if you are going to cook them and come out like KFC. |
