Was going stale of late long time between fush's with weather the way it's been

Did sneak out last saturday more a waste of time cause allthough not so may fonsy jackets to lose rigs to bloody barracoutta took their place, so I called it an early day.

Pick handles were about 2day but not as bad, goodarus news was the Snappy Tom's were back nothing exeptional biggest around 48 cm's

Just nice pan size'd wuns average 45 cm's, kept 4 of dem prob got around 8 or so along with all the other wittle fishy's swiming aound the ocean

Plastic's prob did most of the damage Tu Day

Shoulda gone out today, weather looked great until late arvo. poke.gif

If the forecasts are correct then this saturday will be f*cken awesome. Southerlies until late friday, stirring up all the food. There'll be a bit of southerly slop hanging about but should be fishable.

But offshore seems to be alright too, one guy jigged up a 15kg+ kingy (more likely 17-18kg) on Saturday. 120cm on the dot, and very fat. One fillet weighed 7kg so your guess as to the weight.

Really? Well you were out there so.....

But it definitely picked up at my place at around 5pm-ish.

Me Tinks ewe need to learn how to diagnose those 4casts more GooDarus than ewe do.

Dont just look @ the wind speed it's the least of the probs when fushing offshore, tis it's direction that's more important

Sat is coming off a 2.5 meter swell from the day b4 [not goodarus] when it's NE's blowing on saTuday

Tu morror is my pick 4 the next week

F*ckin awesome weather for inshore snapper work. I never said it was going to be comfortable.

The only good thing about offshore is that it seems there are a fair few kings hanging around, not the weather, and judging on the 18kg model some of them are very good fish.

Alot to learn PadWunGurner

Weather esp wind plays a bigarus role when fushing even in close

Pick the right wind/swell direction & it's the difference between staying on the fish or missing out.

B4 I decide where to fish I take all that into consideration, that's why some days I opt to just go squidding cause I know wind wont hamper me even if it's blowing hard I sneak behind protection & wear a condom hysterical.gif

Unfortunately they're still about hysterical.gif

A couple of mates got fish up around 10 kg jigging up @ terrigal on the weekend, which reminds me I have box's & box's of knife jigs ranging from 60 grams up to 500grams up for sale @ ridicula's price of $5 each just to get rid of them I'll get around to taking a pic or tu then post them.

Got rid of most of the poppers but still a few box's of those left

Stuff the kungs snappy toms are starting to show Stan got sum nice fush to 5kg when I got these but he was out in deeper water cause I like throwing the SP's @ them I opt to fush where I have been in shallower water prob sneak out Tumollo again

An anchor helps if drifting fails. rolleyes.gif

Unfortunately the weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse and the boat is out of action anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

There are a LOT of fish ahead of Barracouta in terms of eating.

The big ones are apparently quite fun on light gear but that's about it.
