ive never been freshwater fishing ,

how does it compare to saltwater fishing ?

are there any places close to sydney that i can go ?

and if so what type of fish can i expect to get ?

yep the nepean , is great place to enjoy a fish great scenery and some fish . I go up for the bass

hmm , never been to the nepean before,

i think in the new year i might have to organise a fishing trip and see if any 1 wants to go fishing on the nepean.

There is a quite popular double boat ramp in Trench Reserve Park in Trench Av Jamisontown (South Penrith) not far off Mulgoa Rd..straight up the M4....good luck smile.gif

No, unless I turn on the garden hose, nepean is my best bet, know of a couple of spots but canoe job, and I havent used it for years, lot more cumfy on boat , biggrin.gif
