Since I was in the mood a few weeks back decided to rebind my 24 kg sticks

Originally the rods had the standard afco rollers & on occasions the double would catch & since I cant see myself ever fishing 37 kg again stripped the BIG Foot rollers off my old chair rods & bound then onto the 24 kg sticks.

I dont like 2 piece rods & my game sticks are the only exeption prob because I have a few & the detachable butts allow me to chop & change from bent to straight butts etc.

Now the only thing I have to figure out is how in hell I'm gonna catch a fish with them it's been that long I've 4gotten

they look great mate ,ive been tossin up doin that to me older rods ,more for a change of scenery again ,any tips on binding older rods ,ive got tonnes of eyes so i was thinkin of putting all the single feet ones on the rods ,,,,ill only have to buy different coloured threads ,thanx mate

jas binding a rod is actually quite simply & easy

easy for me to say cause I've built up so many over the years.

To start of with eyes as you refer to them as are called guides or runners.
