Shame that the site has gone, but good riddance to the owners. I have a lifetime ban for saying a poster was harshly dealt with.

It won't be closing down, but members will now have to pay a annual fee to have access to the site. Some good blokes on there and they have good social outings etc

That is true Frank, however, Donna is a real live megalomaniac and Stewie is her #1 henchman and husband. Everything is really rosy if you do not mention anything about anything which is not affiliated with the site. Strictly no mentioning charters, stores etc or you will be lucky to get a warning or more likely find yourself banned without notice. Ask me how I know. THEN, if you do not agree with either of them and voice it on the forum, it is immediate life ban. Ask me how I know. I rejoined with a different isp and name last time and a mate agreed with someone who questioned Donna's double standards re the sponsors mention and he was banned for life along with my mate. I received a pm from Stewy asking if I agreed with my mate and faced a ban if the answer was yes. For many days later, Donna's worshippers put shit on my mate and Donna changed his name to 'Loser". I wrote on that post that I thought it was unfair and that the negative commenters were most likely not aware of the background to the banning, My post lasted 30 minutes, was deleted by Donna/Stewy and the first I knew of the life ban was when I saw it on the site when I tried to log in. So long as they hold the reins, there is NO WAY I would contemplate ever posting there again. I even have old emails from them, thanking me for my hints/tips etc contributions and my reports. What a joke.
Now where did I put that soap box? I have more to say.

Yes I know all about the banning history of Donna, she likes thinks to go smoothly without any sort of conflict and takes it far too seriously. They offered me a moderation
position on the site but I thought they had far too many mods anyhow and I didn't want that sort of position again.
I know several guys that have been banned from the site for apparently no real reason and it has a reputation as being the banning site, but if you can let that go
over the top of your head, As I have done then it's not a bad place to communicate with other fisho's .
It's about the only place that is still going that has any sort of traffic.
When I heard of the site closing down I sent several PM's to good guys that I like on the site to join me at F A N G NSW, so far only 1 has accepted my invitation to join the site.

George. I hope whatever was the problem that they have sorted it out and you are fully recovered, two weeks is a long time to spend in hospital, specially these days.
