Seas have been up, wind has been gale force, rain has been torrential for the past several weeks, but today was just glorious. Went out to a possie I call 'Fork A', just north of Stanwell Park to wet a line. Plenty of cabbage on the rocks and perfect water, albeit a little too calm. Started fishing about 8.30am and finished with a bag limit, 40 minutes later. My mate John, got his 7 fish in the same time. I released 6 more fish and ended up keeping seven for a feed for us and mother in law. She finds it hard to go rock hopping at age 93 Just a wonderful morning in a beautiful spot. Saw a couple of Humpback whales cruise by, only a hundred or so metres out. All fish were fat and feisty and in milt.

Ahhh Red throat Luderick, still haven't tasted them and probably never will as my days of climbing over rocks are well behind me.
