I only have some very old beach rods, OR some very new dirt cheap chinese type rubbish beach rods, so I'm sure you or nobody else would
have been interested in them.

No probs at all Frank. Apart from asking a genuine question, it was also an attempt to generate a post or two, as nothing is being written here. It is the only avenue of "meeting" or communication with who I consider to be 'fishing mates'.
