We had some awesome weather down there.. Fishing was a bit funny though...

Took us a day and half to find the fish nothing showing on the sounder. Plenty of bait schools but nothing around them, spent half a day trolling live squid for kings but no luck, a few touches halfway between the bay and Currarong along the cliffs but no takers.

The squid we had no trouble finding, only most of them were too big for baits but will make a great dinner..

Was also good watching the Navy boats doing some exercises on the bay!

Ended up getting some nice snapper, flatties around the 50cm mark and a dozen large squid. Most of the fish ended up hooking up on fresh slimy fillets. Had some fun on light gear with the salmon on longnose too.

nearly ended up staying another day and fishing the basin but decided that the 6hr drive home would be better gotten over with! I will have my house back down there soon so will be leaving the boat and getting down a lot more often, CANT WAIT!!!

One of the days, didn't take pics of the other days including snapper, squid and salmon..

Was a quiet relaxing few days fishing with a mate, only needed earmuffs for his nightime snoring!
