Had a weekend down at the Pezmonsta's new retreat at Sussex inlet. Left the boat at home this trip so we could have a bit more of a look around instead of boating the whole time (to keep the wife happy )

Target species for the weekend was KKW's favourite meal and it was my first time fishing for them... A quick run in the tinny and some bobbing floats and had boated 3 smaller ones but nothing big was taking the weed...

Had a fish off the shore a few hundered meters up from the house with Kaylee and got another smaller fish...

Looking forward to getting down there with the big boat and getting outside for a good fish..

Didn't know they came that small I don't think I have ever fished for them on inside waters, but the ocean run fish are solid, tough fighters. How did the little ones go, for their size? Kaylee looks like she is asking you to knock off a fillet and toss it in a frypan for her dinner.

We have seen bigger ones KKW, not sure if we was fishing the right time or tides or what but it was good fun, and yes, the little ones put up a good fight, i was using 3lb line so always going to be fun!

That kid is growing like a rocket mate.
