I am thinking of putting the 40hp Tohatsu motor back on the Bass boat, For the past 2 years I have had the 30hp Mercury on it.
When I put the Tohatsu back on it I will be putting the boat up for sale, as it is registered with the Tohatsu, best to sell with the proper motor.
I re wired the CDI today and will be trying it out before I change over, as it's a pretty big job as forward controls and all have to be replaced.
The boat will need to be fitted with new carpet before I sell it also cause the shit stuff I got from bunnings ( so called marine carpet ) is thread bare and looks terrible.

Pics of what ? pic of boat, pic of fading carpet, pic of motors, which one ? pic of cdi .
Here's a shot of boat a couple years ago when carpet was still pretty fair, had odd seats then noaw seats are at least the same type.

Here's one before I fitted the electric and carpet just fitted.

Here's a pretty early shot when I was considering throwing a few stickers on it to look like one of those wanker Bass Bream boats, changed my mind and still have the stickers, but not on the boat.

This is the boat as it came from the factory before I started interfering with it.

Paul. It's a drive on trailer I built it about 15 years ago all alloy with springless suspension.
I used it with the Savage lancer and then converted it to hold this boat.
It's very low slung and I can step from outside the boat to inside the boat and keep one foot on the pavement, if you know what I mean.
I meangly didn't wash this trailer on purpose cause I wanted to prove a point to myself, that a alloy trailer would last 15 years plus without any attention and looking after. Mid last year I decided to give it a wash, the trailer has not got or had a crack in it after all this time and it's fully welded, not bolted together like they are building the alloy trailers these days.
This trailer will still be going strong for another 20 years.

Quiet smooth really, can't think of the terminology off hand but it's the inner rubber type swing arm suspension.
Al Koa specialise in it. It allows boats to be much lower on trailer, same as what Jumpy uses but mine is single axle and a 4" casing all the way from one wheel to the other, where jumpy's are indapendant for each wheel. Hard for me to put in typing explation at the moment.

So it has springs, A Torsion System, still a spring ;) I know what you mean..

When you said springless thought you meant nothing!
