Well finally bit the bullett and wet the boat. Got a 7.30 am start at Greys point and motored down to about Lilli pilli where I started my first drift, drifted all the way down to about gunnamatta bay without a touch, and thought this would set the mode for the day. I then motored up to south west arm where I was surprised to see some decent sizes Slimies swiming around, as these were not what I wanted I set about setting up the downrigger with a nice juicy pillie rigged for the taking, nothing.
Decided to try over at Lilli pilli again and got my first flathead, at 73mm it wasn't too bad, took the camera from it's case and " flat batterys " put the spare set I had in and these were also flat ( don't think my charger is working )
Anyhow continued on and on and on.
Ended up with 3 keepers for the morning and called it a day around 12noon.
Enjoyed myself and at least wet the boat.
Now I must buy myself a decent AA and AAA battery charger.

Goodonya Frank. I was at Jibbon - west end of the beach and waited for you to come past and pick me up. See the big dredges sucking up some of the sand from the channels?
It was nice when the sun came out but freezing with the SW coming off the snow. Got 6 niggers, one on a green and gold weed fly. Left around 12.30.
