Were is the best place to fish in South Australia?????????????????? Possum and I are leaving hear on Wednesday 1/8/2012 and will be gone for the month

thanks Fed, we will be going on the odd charter and hope to find a few spots to just walk the banks and cast a lure or two

Paul. Not the best time of the year for the area.
However I have quiet a few contacts down that way and if you are talking about a charter this bloke would be the best in SA. Arno Bay fishing charters here is his personal email arnobayfishing@bigpond.com OR phone 0427 282000 Tell Ashley " Nimrod " from Fishnet sent you ( he will probably charge you double ).
Arno bay is south of Whyalla and the fishing is every bit as good as it's better known Whyalla.
Around September you might be in with a chance of some very large Whiting, and Snapper are vertually an all round affair for those who know the areas.
Get in touch with arno bay charters and they will give you more details.
SA has a lot of good spots, but like most places the locals are the people to get in touch with.
I have just had an all out brawl with my best contact down there so about a month late for him to help you.
Thing is How much info do you want on the area ?.

thank you so much frank ,I have just called Ashley and it sounds like we are in for quite an adventure, with a half day on whiting and half on snapper at a cost of $200 a head per day biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif how good is that.
