Thought i'd knock up a set of outriggers for the Mini Me today

Didn't take long & while I was @ it redid/extended shotgun rigger for the big boat

Didn't want to fart arse & do work on the boat itself so opted to have riggers mount in 4ward rod holders

Figured there'll be days i wont want to run big riggers on the Jumpus & very easily use these on both boats

Oh yeah out of curiosity how have you 1/2 boat owners ert up your riggers ???????????? laugh.gif laugh.gif

I've got the rigger bases and refuse to pay $270 EACH for the other part that fits onto them and that's without the poles.

Getting the Marlin bug mate?

What stops the riggers turning in the rod holders Jumpy?
Jumpus GooDarus
Gumball slots

Can't make out any slots in the picture Jumpy.
The reason I asked is I've got those SS rodholders that fit into alloy rodholders and I'm concerned about the slots corroding/cutting through the alloy pins that are welded inside the original holders.
Have you got welded alloy pins in your rod holders or are you using 3/16" SS screws with nylock nuts?
Jumpus GooDarus
Hadn't slotted them when i took pic on the bench that was @ mates workshop

Slots are there in pic with riggers were completed

Yep my holders are alloy & i used 25 x 6 mm flatbar welded in as the gumball pins
