A pretty poor day really Jumpy and we didn't bother stopping over the other side on the way home.

Nearly did your anchor trick too, the bloody thing was well hooked up & it had me going around in circles trying to bury the nose of the boat. Got checked by the MSB for lifejackets as well.

We had that school of baitfish hanging around our anchor rope for a couple of hours busting up every 5 minutes so I think there was something scaring them. 2 Guys in a white sharkcat (Mako) chucked lures at the school for at least an hour but nothing for them.

I usually don't fish so shallow there but as I was letting the anchor rope out there was a heap of fish showing on the sounder so I pulled up short with the view of letting out more.
The trouble is that there were plenty of bites to keep us interested so I didn't let us go back out into deeper water. They were toying with us.

All up we still had a good day and this cooler weather is a lot easier on the old body.

Got smoked out front thanks to Duck Flakka ling linging me on the ling ling machine was cursing him & turned ling ling machine off after that not paying attention to the rod till it was to late & mustafar started yelling we were on.

When rod goes off i run out to deeper water to get fish away from reef not the case this time if DF aint on the boat scaring all the fish away he's cursing me on the ling ling machine

We did allright nonetheless after that went back on the bommy & yep sammy the plic stole one of the squids moved & ended up keeping 3 girls 80, 70 & 65 cm's to the forks

Pulled squids for 2 odd hrs B4 we got a hit prob with most people is they give up to quick

I've got no problem with targetting mate, i can put hours in, but the problem is i start to think maybe my rig isn't right, or maybe the bait looks funny, i should downgrade the leader, maybe i should stick a plan out and change it every trip till i get a fish

Go fishing with the Master Dan it will open up a whole new world for you.

I'd book a trip with him myself but I couldn't stand the incessant chatter for an extended period.
