Bloody hell was in a hurry this morn & 4got my high heels & handbag

Bay was like glass when I hit the water, didn't pack any frozen squiddys wasn't even sure I wanted to girly fish

Didn't take long to run down to jibbon & when I got there the water was crystal could see evllything on the botton.

Shitload of vegimite fish they were everywhere, didn't think it would take long to fill the live bait tank up with squiddys.

Wasn't I wong ? struggled to get just 2 of them & had wasted a couple of hrs tu du so

Tossing whether to go troll them on jibbon bommy or the bay, opted the bay & was going to hed nth to my favoured place, when I got to the bay couldn't be bothered getting any more squids esp with the lack of girls of late.

As allways when ewe cant get bait the targetted fush are in abundance neither of the 2 squids lasted more than a couple of minutes & I hadn't even entered the bay both girls were legal & must've been pursueing a modeling career cause they weren't very fat & had smallish man boobies so I let them go.

Then sum ting caught my eye & nearly blinded me, yes peeps it was Mr Shiny Head & his offsider Jed's new Beerfairy

Well the fairy gave me sum of her Lip Gloss & I thought hmmmmmm might du the twick since I didn't have any high heels, so off i went looking for sum squids got another 2 in the bay wun was not a bad size alot bigger than smaller wuns of earlier so I was rigging it up when Shinny & fairy rocked up.

After they left & hadn't gone 100 meters rod buckled over & wunce again I was on, fat wittle girl as well



Wunce landed out went my last squiddy 2 minutes later up came her twin sister

Still quite nice on the water even though a breeze had come up so thought squiddy time wunce more did allright this time got 3 pretty quick so on with sum more lip gloss.

A couple of mis apps on the day lost the foot control to the lecky, lost a pair of sunnys but wasn't that phased but sum bloodys were on the full wrath of Jumpus fury those F****** idiots from pt authority.

Think I called them every name under the sun the P**cks think they own the bay & i gave them a lecture on maritine rules

I've been bitching for sum time that wun day there'll be acidents with the increased ship traffic in the bay, traffic has allready started & the boats @ risk are the small tinny owners who frequent Molly Pt.

Tug boat guys are fine they just cruise along, pilot boats those plics give off a huge wash allways travelling with the hammers down

Enough of the bitch, back to the girls day out

Those last 3 squids caught another 5 girls no choice had to put them out dead if they survived the girl b4 ended up keeping 2 girls for the day dont mind a bit of a 3sum, maybe next time I'll go 4play

At times the baitfish were 15 meters deep

Noice one. Did you chase the vegetarian fish back inside? Last time I was out near the bommie, there were thousands of blackfish schooling up drove a couple of hundred metres and the fish were thick. Sounder looked like yours with the baitfish. Jewies love blackfish and follow the schools, as they do with sea mullet too. Saw a jewie smash a blackfish in Turriel Bay. A cloud of scales in the water and he turned back and swallowed the blackfish before heading off into deeper water. Washed my boat today and put debonder on the tyres

Jumpy. How do you go about loosing a foot control for a electric motor ? isn't it attatched to the motor ?.

I was going to try and get out there OR Belambie this weekend but don't look like happening now.

So we headed over to the ‘Bombie’ about an hour and ½ before low tide … everything was on the chew …
There were plenty of baby reddies and on Fed’s side of the boat he had sweep in plague proportions. Caught one and there had to have been at least 6 Kingies chasing it up. Have the video to prove it.
The Kingies were actually breaking the surface chasing the bait fish … now I know where all the yakkas had gone to.

Busted off by one Kingy so I bought out the BIG rod … at least I managed to land it … pity it wasn’t legal.

Then Mr Jumpus came on over and headed off to find more squid … boat looks good doing “10 knots” mate!
Stopped to say ‘Hooroo’ on the way home … that must have just been before he caught his girlie fish … he was rigging up as we left.
(JUMPY … at least the tugs move at a slower pace so you can dodge them.)

We came home with a nice size bream and a decent sized reddie … also some great footage of the day’s action. Good enough to put on Funniest Home Videos. They just have to “bleep-out” the colourful adjectives that Fed used and what he said to the Kingy that we threw back … well I will leave that to your imagination … the poor thing didn’t mean to fall on his toe!

On the way home even Fed thought that we were going to have a head-on collision … blurry idiots!
I just about side-swiped a green channel marker trying to get out of the way of a jet ski and a small boat doing 25 – 30 knots in an 8 knot zone. The further I went to my right the further they went to their left … I was waiting for the boat to hit the channel marker.
AND I hadn’t turned the camera on! Geez!

Now all I have to do is to get Fed to teach me how to clean MY fish!

Leckky was playing silly buggers with me when i was @ jibbon was using the hand contol no probs getting L & R turn etc even though ewe could hear the power on beeps prop wouldn't turn so i got the foot control out to see if it made a difference & left it on passenger seat.

Dont bother taking the transom door with me anymore & on way back to the bay I was doing a bit of prop dancing going 10 knots must've fallen off seat & out the door only noticed cause prop on lecky started spinning & was looking for control to turn it off.

Cant say for certain wot the baitfish on sounder are a better guess would be pilly's or slimmy's only cause of the shear volume of the mass's

My last 3 trip's in the bay have been quite on the sounder but didn't matter where I went yesterday baitfish was everywhere, good size tailor where also breaking surface feeding



Those guys are fine even the big ships aren't a prob with there wash but those pilot pt boats piss me off think they own the bay & I wont put up with their nonsense esp when they dont know the rules & think they can bully peeps.

Idiots told me it was a shipping channel I was entering, told the plics I was in a ship a mini me wun & wasn't riding a donkey I had every right to use the channel as i was under power & not anchored nor drifting

The pilots are cowboys for sure Jumpy, no need whatsoever for them to gun it in the Bay.

Hitting the bay tomorrow. Hopefully can nail a few on lighter gear and poppers.

Mate of mine nailed a few on the surface around the drums yesterday. Admittedly they were on plastics, but if they're on/near the surface then poppers are worth a try. Raised a few on poppers at Long Reef a few weeks ago (couldn't connect though), and the water was about 18 degrees.

If you see a southwind out on the Bay tomorrow with two young blokes reeling in fish after fish - that'll be me and Harry.

Nope didn't see anybloody out there with a WET SPOT in front of their shorts

Nor did I see Harry Potter waving his wand, mind ewe there was a bloke out there who looked like Hagred

Well guess what I managed to catch a king on. Got to love those surface takes when a king smashes your popper. Also got plenty more (all rats though) on plastics too, mainly around Bare Is. bommie. They seem to be mixed in with the bonito.

P.S. After today I'm officially over bonnies for the next year or so.

Those plic rats were evllywhere got sick of ketching them they nialated all my wittle wittle squids so packed up the scotty2hotty & just drifted flicking squid strips into them for a bit of fun on the light gear.

Out of all the wittle wittle girlys I caught maybe only wun may have made it to legal size

Wot a difference a day or 2 makes those baitfush schools were gawn kapoot no where to be found.

Blew it me tinks had run out & up nth to get my squiddys should've run straight out to the 12 mile & scotty2hotty'd there

Bonny's were everywhere outside did stop to spin up a few velly small though

Yesterday the bay was full of small bait, looked like juvinile pillies about an inch long. I wouldn't waste squid on rats, just use POPPERS.

Mate was complaining that he left the 1kg outfit at home, rat kings on 1kg would've been fun.

Started back @ the ramp where a guy asked me if Mini Me was a trailcraft

Then on molly there was these 2 yung guys when I saw them they'd just hooked a girl wind blew them out 2wards the drums & when they finally landed it [looked undersize from where I was] they were screaming & carry'n on like they'd caught a real fush

Then there was these 2 udder guys trolloping lures around not paying attention to their rods [ or were they??]

Only 10 meters or so away from me I started pointing to their rods wun of which was buckled over & they still didn't know they were on

Didn't bother taking any pics of the girly's cause they were wee wittle wuns
Said it was a funny day out there had 4gotten I took a pics of these tu, brurry irriots will go fushing in any ting that floats
Me tinks they would've been in for a shock when they decided to call it a day, couldn't feel it where they were but just around the corner twas blowing 20 knots from the west.

Dropped in to visit with Mr & Mrs Fed today. Fed gave me directions, but I still had to ask, as you can go round and round in ever diminishing circles before you find the street. Found the house and recognised the statue of JG in the front garden. Had a good chat and saw the video clips of Sea Fairy fighting kingfish and Fed trying to give instructions and finally trying to net it. Fun times......

Figured you'd been around to Fed's

Dead give away was the house had Crim Safe fitted since my last visit

Not to mention the statue Fed aquired of ewe just to make ewe feel welcome
