you know the club down near the ramp at ??? well you guys know where it is.

Is there a place you can tie your boat up at ?

There is a ramp there and plenty of tie off space but I think you have to be a member to use the facilities, also you have to take the trailer off the tow vehicle to park. It's cheap to become a member and well worth the cost if you are going to use the place a bit, just once off I don't think it would be economic.
Jack could fill you in on all the details. Or maybe another member.Best to get the info before you get your dad to tow the boat all the way there, or you might be dissapointed.
Either way I hope you and your dad can make it, your mum as well, this is a general get together so all welcome.

Thanks for clearing that up Jumpy, sort of makes sence that you could tie off to the pontoons and enter the club to spend money.
Will keep that in mind next time I'm out on the bay around lunch time, drop in tie off and slip into the club for a meal and a couple of coldies,
who wants to go fishing when you can sit and relax and watch all the pretty boats bobbing up and down, pretty good way to spend a couple of lazy hours if you ask me.

Paul. There are a lot of elderly type ladies and gentlemen that attend the club,,you know the white hat type,, so neatness would be expected, I would guess no thongs but casual wear is OK.
But then again they allow Jumpy in the place so I guess just about anything goes.

What about Poly's RUG?

No SINGLETS either so BeesBoobs will be well covered up. PHEW!

We dont really enter the mainframe of the club pokies etc so dont have to sign in as guests

Can if ewe want but tis much nicer out back @ the bottom bar, right on the water velly casual there

Sandals etc will even get ewe upstairs to the resturant but wunce ewe've ordered tis nicer to take food back downstairs rather than ET in the resturant itself

*NO hats/caps
*No singlets (or for the ladies swimwear tops)
*shorts allowed at any time BUT no "beach" shorts for the ladies
*thongs are allowed until 6 pm then shoes must be worn
* neat casual

as she stated ...'alot of people arrive at the club after being out on their boats'

Jumpus was pointing at my boat and planning to nick it when I went to pick up my car. I was ahead of him and had taken the keys (can't trust anybody at that club).
He graciously offered to help me take the boat out so I gave him the keys expecting him to make a run for it....
Next time use the dead man switch it starts a lot easier

Once again a successful meet and a few more faces to names.
Thanks everyone for showing up, I had a good time meeting and talking to some old friends and meeting some new ones.
Although I don't look like it in the photo I had a really good time.
Twice a year would be good and more get togethers and outings are always a good thing, it adds to the friendship of those within the site and builds lasting friendships. I do about 8-9 different get togethers with verious sites a year, and always have a great time.
I have often invited members to join me on the get togethers but few have taken up the offers.

Lucky i didn't go, i normally leave the keys in the boat !

Nah, sounds like a good day and if it wasn't so close to Christmas i would of been there.

Packing for Forster, buying Gifts and all that really adds up this year because we are leaving for Forster a few days before Christmas.
