aFTER READING bees post the other day I got abit wet and decided to give the Hawksbury river a bash.

I matched bees with the sunburn and managed to catch a nice feed.

I have caught and released my fair share of flatties however decided to keep this one for the table as it is ok to take one home every now and then.

The intention was there to try and get the ju ju s however this did not happen this time.

The flattie took a bait which was out for the jew , flathead are common bycatches when targeting ju ju s.

My big jewie moment will have to wait however Im sure that if I keep at it I will soon be posting a monster catch to share with you guys.

This would be a good goal for me to accomplish this year hopefully.
