Sat down yesterday & made up a couple of 3 lure rigs for catching squiddys

These are to trail behind the boat on a rod set up with a ratchet

Rig isa padamoster & to stop jigs from tangling up I removed the lead weights from them

Clip on lead to be used on bottom of rig

This rig should come in handy for peeps like jason, heard there's alot of squid in the rivers up his way hysterical.gif

This is a bit of a loaded question and so much information out there on this already.

The most basic jig that I use is to get the bait in the water off the rocks is to put the free running weight just before the hook. From here everything changes no weight more weight, larger or smaller hook, the type of bait, lenght of leader, where I cast. How long I wait before a couple of turns of the reel.

The main thing here is to be able to modify your way of fishing.
