Bloody hell it's been a while since someone last put up a report? JG aren't you fishing any more? Or are you too busy with the goats? rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Anyway you know the species, the last pic of the salmon is my official PB at 65cm. It went hard and was just one of a whole bunch of good fish. I got the nice whiting on a plastic a few days ago, they didn't shine to poppers but scoffed SP's fished in slightly deeper water.

OK sambo around the mid 50's.

Nice chinee fish.

Good one Alex, especially the whiting. I went out yesterday in BB but caught nothing legal. Lots and lots of reddies which went just undersize. They go hard on light line, for their size. Got one lizard (or should I say gecko) and some tailer. They Tailer were feeding on really tiny "whitebait" only an inch long and almost transparent. No birds diving, which surprised me. They were boiling in a number of locations, but were hard to entice with a lure. Lures to match the bait would have been too light to cast. Next time.

kkw the salmon were feeding on the same thing. Small bait about 1 inch long. They did, however, like 2-3 inch minnow style soft plastics that had some pearl/white colour in them. Flies worked well too.
