Today was a much better day & worth doing a report on
Even talked myself into getting a real early start & was on the water by 11 am

Collected a few slimy's for livies & off we went on our merry way, flat sea's saw MC Hammers go down & revs up to 5 G
Cruising out sitting on 27 knots just outside the heads when a distractraction surfaced 100 meters in front of us so out came the camera with the big telepoopoo lens

Pics out of the way it was Hammer time again, 80 fathom line had the boat spooking baitfishys everywhere & I was 1/2 tempted to pull up & start cubing there but kept going another6 NM's to a spot that has produced for us all season.
A bit slow today took @ least 1/2 hour for the 1st run, wittle alby's were taking the baits & the buggers were hard to hook as well

Water wasn't a bad colour esp compared to sunday but something didn't sit right with me, a few boats up nth on Browns getting zero's all day on the radio, I was flipping the coin in my mind whether to head back in to the shelf or go out wider.
Flat conditions made the choice easy & it was out to the marks where we'd put our very own ?? Yes you guessed it
Dirk Diggler onto his very 1st YFT

I liked the drift out there but it took 40 odd minutes for the 1st run to happen missed a few which had alby written all over them, Jim was hooked up & giving him a hand to get the fish on board I turned my bad to stern.
When I looked back @ stern I saw what I thought to be 2 - 3 boils up on the surface 10 meters back, straight away without seeing the fishy's I called out YFT's
Boy wasn't I wrong, sort of

Jim finally picked up his rod hurt his back & asked me to take the rod off him, well well what a bitch of a rod that was a real back breaker & Jumpus wasn't silly after 5 minutes I called Skitso over & gave him the rod

Poor bugger had to fight the fishy up & down for next hr whilst I was laughing @ him, in the meantime we really couldn't fish cause this fishy was towing the boat around doind 360's so in came the other lines
Finally Colour so out came the gaff, well guys you dont often see Jumpus getting a stiffy but what caught my eye about this fishy whilst still 15 meters under the boat was it's sickles that's when I knew we had a GoodaRus Fishy.
Skitso using the Back Breaker

The wittle big fishy spewing out all the cubes it ate

Not certified scales & I convinced the wittle fishy would've made the 80 kegger mark but not so I'll get those scales checked cause they read 74 kg
