Just having a read about a apparently 'Indestructable Boat'.....Triumph 190 Bay made of Polythene....Certainly looks the goods. Manufactured from some stuff called Roplene.
Looks like a great upgrade for you Poly-still get to stay in the plastic!

'INDESTRUCTIBLE' is there such a thing some how i don't thinks so, in time to come we may see problems as we did with fiber glass and alloy, just what they will be only time will tell. my poly is only 4 years old and still going very strong, she is stored in the open under a tarp, in time i will get a bigger boat 6.5 or 7mt and that will take me away from poly so i will have to decide weather to go glass or alloy if i can i will keep the little poly so i can still fish the rivers and bays

yep i would miss my poly if i were to sell it, the trouble is the largest poly made here in oz is only 5.99 thats about 19ft6 i will of course be looking at the big poly just that they are very rear on the second hand market, large glass or alloy are much easier to find at a good price

Go the tin Poly and you can't go wrong. Phil went out on a tinny today and he can't wait to go again. His Plastic fantastic has cobwebs all over it.
