Took a couple of work friends out today for an introduction to throwing the plastics around, our target was the humble Breamski.
Hit some of the flats early so they could get the feel for casting and working the lures.
Mary & Andy, normally bait fisho's, got the hang of it very quickly and were soon pulling in small Bream & Flatties, not too mention the odd Chopper or 4.
A move into some deeper water near the flats and a change of technique saw some good Bream come on board during the morning.
Mary was able to land a new PB Bream of 39cm (to the fork) and her first 1kg+ fish. Just to prove it was no fluke she netted a second one a little while later.
The day was alot of fun, good company and heaps of fish.
Lures on the day were our Tackle Craft 3" minnows in Dirty Lime & Coppa Pearl as well as the 3" Worm in Muddy Green.
We used a fine gauge #2 jig head with a 1/16th head tied to 6 pound leader.
