there worth alot extra but you do not have too drill holes in the bottom of your tinny for the transjusier and you can take it off when you sell the boat

Not a good way to use a sounder, esp a floating tranny, 4get about it & you'll lose it not to mention wear on the cable you really need to fix tranny to the boat even in the fresh water.
When you're fushing you want the sounder in full view mounted not a hand held cause you'll most likely get jacked off & not bother using it if you've got to pick it up all the time.

Make sure you get one that floats. Mate bought on for his tinny that hung over the side.

He forgot to pull the transducer in when he was leaving. Ripped it clean out of the holder before he could grab it :o
But it floated

Pretty lucky
But it's like most things... you only have to forget once
I have a hand held GPS and i love it. but not fishfinder

I reckon Stacey is gone looking for a bloody big stick
But think she'll need the whole tree to beat you with then she can tie you to it so you cant get on E Bay again

haahahah mate she s as bad as me lolol,,,,,aparently you can take off the float and mount the tranducer on the boat or to a rod ,so i might look at mounting it too a rod ,and make a fitting for it to sit in me rod holder whilst im stopped
