Well, after much searching, I finally found the boat I was looking for. A 5m Quintrex Cruiseabout. I had forgotten how big the boat was, in comparison to my 4.2m Quintrex. Going to do some cleaning on it, then get the motor serviced and checked out, then ....... GO FISHING.

I have a Shakespeare 16ft boat cover, but with the bow rail and screen, I don't think it is suitable. There are press studs around the screen and gunwhales etc, so I may have to get a cover made. See my mate Sumo and get a discount off his mate.

The Quinny had its first outing today. All goes well, so I am happy. Looks big behind the Forester. First gear going up the hill from Grays Point boat ramp. Well, it was third then back to second and the last bit needed first gear. Heavier than it looks.

I looked for the blue boat, but no sign. I berleyed up at the bommie and had thousands of yakkas and striped butterfish at the boat, but after an hour or so with no bites, went elsewhere. I actually caught baitfish, but they don't count. Also lost three SP's on the marker cans, so have one left.
