Not fishing related but thought I would tell you guys anyhow.
Spent most of the day sitting in the waiting room of the doctors,, well 3 hours anyway..
Doc had one quick look and told me I had a severe case of shingles, and wrote a script for some pills and within 5 minutes I was out of there.
It's gonna take a couple of weeks for it to clear up, and it's giving me hell at the moment, all around and under my right boobie and spreading around to my back.
Dock said with my heart condition it was a good thing I went in to see him.

Caused from the chicken pox virus I had when a child, and it lingers on to grab you in your old age.

Ya poor old fella. My mum had a case of that many years ago and I remember her being in pain and suffering fevers from them. They say stress can bring it on. Are you stressed??? Worried about not being able to catch any fish??? Oh wait, that's Fed, not you.

Hope you recover quickly.

Yes mate all the back scales and rash has cleared up, just some stubborn rash around the right chest area. Itch is slowly getting less.
I have done a really good job of NOT scratching the rash,, just jive it a slight rub now and again.
I think another week and I will be all cleared up.
