QUOTE It made perfect sense for you to interchange between it and mini me. Wanted to but no way I could fit the units into the smaller goat QUOTE Daniel, you have a budget! Dosen't need to buy 2 units he's allready got a sounder a new sounder is not going 2b any better than existing unless it's a black & white & ewe want a colour unitQUOTE P.S. You dont need your GPS whilst in the act of downrigging... You need a sounder Wot a load of bullshitta that is just because ewe only have 2 marks in your GPS [Booby Mt & TsiTsiKi Creek] dosen't mean others dont use GPS to death ![]() DaNusun GPS's are a asset when Downriggin ewe follow your tracks mark where baitfish schools are & keep coming back to them same when you get a strike ewe know exactly where ewe got hit & ewe'll find that area will hold the fish. When drifting say for snappy toms ewe can see every track ewe've drifted & know area's holding fish so when ewe go back to do drift again ewe're not wasting time drifting over dead water. No different if you're out chasing game fish whether on the troll/drift GPS is an asset wunce ewe've learned to use it in conjuction with the sounder your capture results will increase both are tools of the trade. Bees is still a PadWunGurner only knows [Booby Mt & TsiTsiKi Creek] ![]() ![]() -------------------- ![]() Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Nothing wrong with a combo if you have limited space or cant afford two units
Just get the best you can afford You use the mapping screen when circling bommies (you may need to adjust the zoom)and rises The fish finder screen is used to find the bait schools (and preditors if your lucky)of course I use a hummingbird witch also controls my downrigger. Im so glad I went with the electric model as I can opperate it by myself. I bought the downrigger from J&H products as paul suggested, they also have great sales service Next time im out I will take some picys for you mate. Wont be this week though as my boss is overworking me with 13hr days Jummpus I love my toys, it fills the void when the fish arnt biting -------------------- insanity takes it's toll, I make sure I have plenty of spare change

No Mapping... look on the bias boating site pal... You have basic mapping with no depth, but i dont need it, i have kkw... he hooked me up and i just transfer the marks ![]() Frank pointed Sum Ting out 2day & I had to agree with him Bees carefull of the marks ewe transfer from kkw pc prog to gps they are inacurate on a navtronic cards No such prob transfering those marks to a C Map card, as I said previously C map is based on proper naval charts unlike the navtronic cards Pretty poor those navtronic cards for detail even with the gold card, they have my goat traveling over land when I'm travelling on water -------------------- ![]() Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |
