hey guys i am gwtting anonnyed at looking at 10 foot boats second hand now for $1500,, now i tho bugger it, i'm gonna go buy a new 3 meter tinnie and put me leccy motor on it, now it is tillerr steer 54 lb trust and what kind of speed do you think i will get out of it, not realy thinging much not it would be nice to know, btw does any one know of a good boat 3 -3.4 meters long brand new for $1500, thanks alot guys biggrin.gif

mate that stacer of mine was 1300 brand new ,its a 3.4 cartopper ,depends on how much gear youve got onboard and everything else to how fast youll go ,but ide say equivelent to about a 2 hp ,and trust me that wont do much ,,,good for trollin though

Lecky's aren't designed to go speeding around in

The more you accelerate with a lecky the quicker your battery will die just rember that.

Yes transom mount lecky's are meant to troll with but dont get caught out to far from place of launch else you'll be oaring it home.

I have got a 55 lb kota on my 4.8 meter tinny & if there's no wind /current it gets along very briskly @ a guess maybe 6 knots

The motor you showed link to has had a rectifyer fitted to it no big deal they're only worth around $100

All they do is convert Alternating current into Direct c12 volt current & thats what you need to charge the battery.
