Just a bit of a update to let you know how I'm going with the project. ordered a couple of cheap seats, got rego number stickers
and starting to add a few toys. I will try and fit motor and controls during the week end and then start thinking about a trailer. 20171117_112134.jpg ( 899.75K ) Number of downloads: 8 20171117_112107.jpg ( 1.36MB ) Number of downloads: 5 20171117_112052.jpg ( 1.07MB ) Number of downloads: 12 20171117_110350.jpg ( 1.35MB ) Number of downloads: 6 20171117_110350.jpg ( 1.35MB ) Number of downloads: 6 Photos not the best as it is under cover and sky's are getting dark, just phone shots, got no batteries for the good camera. Hey Frank, when I click on the photos, my computer freezes. I notice that the size is almost 1.4mb. I normally resize photos to 960px wide, where yours are 2550px. Not sure if anyone else is having an issue, but I can't look at the pics at all.

I can view them no problem and even make them larger once I click on them. I am running NBN. -------------------- Frank

Looking good Frank, I think that's the same carpet I used in my Bus, I got mine from Bunnings. George the Bunnings stuff looks very similar but is only water resistant where this stuff is made for outdoor use and is virtually water proof. The Bunnings stuff should be OK for the bus but is hopeless in a open boat, one shower of rain or a big greenie over the bow and it starts to rot. -------------------- Frank

No worries Frank, I didn't think that you would use bathroom carpet in the boat, It was great for the bus, easy to cut and lay, with it's rubber back,
and glue's down easy with Contact cement. -------------------- I WANNA GO: FISHIN WITH SUMO.

It does brighten it up a bit, when I get the seats in and a bit more done I will see if I can get it out into the sunlight and take some more snaps. -------------------- Frank

A couple more. Made up a little dolly system to move the boat around easily on the concrete, works good but won't work over grass.
I added a step so it's a bit easier to get in the boat from the rear. some rod holders ( will paint when time ) . Do you think people will get upset if I mount my Cod head on the bow with spotlight shining out of it's mouth ?. 20171119_120825.jpg ( 1.04MB ) Number of downloads: 7 20171119_120837.jpg ( 1020.16K ) Number of downloads: 6 20171119_120758.jpg ( 1.03MB ) Number of downloads: 5 20171119_110003.jpg ( 860.36K ) Number of downloads: 5 20171119_105934.jpg ( 861.52K ) Number of downloads: 5 20171119_105844.jpg ( 1.04MB ) Number of downloads: 5 -------------------- Frank
