Got my chromecast up & running and what a cool gadget but now I want to be a pirate. Anyone here show me where the easy button is? -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

What's a chromecast? Is that like a chrome dome? I can be a good buccaneer without resorting to chrome.

I'm thinking the only way to do it Oz is to download to computer then cast from VLC media player to TV set.
If & when chromecast is supported by vlc player which I think is in the pipeline. For me it's more about playing with the technology, seeing what you can & can't do rather than being a real pirate like KK & Jumpy. -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

Arrr, Arrr - where's me buccaneers? On me buccanedd? Going for a fish in the morning Fed. Want some nigger fillets? Been in the desert for a month and need some saltwater splashing on my legs. I just harvest the available files floating around the ether and save them as MP3, load them onto a memory stick and watch them in 1080 HD on the television. Seems almost too simple and no chrome required. If I want to stream direct to tv then I can do so wirelessly through WD media box.

What, stinking vegefish?
Denise reckons she's fit enough to go out in the boat again but another couple of months break over winter should see her right. Good luck tomorrow. -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

Lucky for me being a pirate is not easy, now they're cracking down on all the past pirates and making then pay for the stuff they pinched.
Dodged a bullet there... -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |
