there is a slimline one there.. You might be better getting a square one and mounting it to the V in the drawbar though.. Then its protected.

Jason this mob has plenty and not too expensive, the toughest ones are the marine tanks 55ltr for $100
I recently bought one they have a big warehouse in Ingleburn and a shop at Kogarah.

they look good mate thanx ,,but im just a bit worried being plastic being under my trailer as it gets used for other stuff as well as camping ,maybe i should steer towards alloy or stainless ,but the later would be as deer as poison

JASON i just use the 20lt plastic jerry cans for water they pack in nice and tight and do the job.
you could build a carrier on the trailer to store them. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

A cheap alternative is 4 or 6" pvc/stormwater pipe. Block off both ends put a filler cap on top of one end and a drain tap on the other.
You can have one either side of the trailer for balance. Hold a lot more water then you would imagine and less then 1/2 the cost of a bought tank.
You can mount them just about anywhere, across bull bars, ets etc etc.
I have even made water and oil tanks from side steps.

yeah i thought of that idea but i think it would look silly on me box trailer , but i will keep it in mind ,the good thing with the jerry cans though ,when they get empty thay are easier to take to get filled ,,,for me anyway

BE VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS!!!

If you do buy "FOOD GRADE" Pvc, the general PVC has contaminates in the manufature that when water is stored in it can be leeched out and contaminate your drinking water..

Also I beleive the glues used should be differant... Any plumbers out there that can confirm?

Jason, generally when fuel or water tanks are underslung they put ply or sheet metal under and in front of them to protect them from stone damage.
