Done a quick trip up north to the QLD border to check out a new block.. We got away early thursday morning for the 6hr drive and arrived a bit after lunch to find that 170 points had come down the night before, the first rain in 5 months.. Lucky we took the cruiser with the muddies and winch which got used a few times.. Unfortunately it made much of the property unaccessible but we still got a good look around and seen some good mobs of pigs, one about 40 strong. Best pig we seen was a ripper well over 100kg but we just couldnt get a shot off on him. Seen plenty of goats, pigs and other game! Here is a few pics anyway.. Will be trying to get back up there in October maybe.. See how we go.
It was a long drive for 1 day of hunting (2 days driving) but worth it to check out!! |
