Hi guys thought I would get in early with an invitation to the annual StClair trip.
This year we are going up for the 26th 27th 28th April and some of us will be staying on a couple of extra days.
Always a great time up there with some decent happy go lucky blokes.
Even if Fresh water fishing is not your thing, the company and camping etc adds to the enjoyment.
We set up camp with tents etc and always have a master tent/awning where we set up tables bbq fridges etc, launch the boats once and leave them in the water till we want to go home, makes it easier on the old back only have to put in and take out once.
So come on guys, come along and have some fun.

Thought I would refresh this invitation for the week end.
This will more than likely be my last time I will be able to get away with the guys, as my health is going down hill very repidly.
When I come back from this trip I will be selling all my boats, except maybe the 12' punt and most of my fishing and boating gear, as they are simply not being used.
I will keep the punt and fix it up so I can still enjoy the occasional day on a quiet lake.

I would really like to see some of you guys come up and share my last fishing break.

Yeah I can see the reports now: Went down beach this morning in the fog and waited till lunch time before we could see the wave break, thawed out by 1 pm enough for a few brisk casts before the cold set in at 1.30pm and decided nothing about anyway, will break the ice again next month, should have reached 10 degreese by then.
