George. My computer won't play videos. I can bring up youtube and it lets me select a video but when it starts to play the
screen goes black and a error message appears. Been a couple of days now so I don't think it's the youtube site. Is there any easy solution ?. -------------------- Frank

Is it only you tube as it sounds like a codec problems and what program are you using.
Try a dvd to test v/card performance , but I,m thinking its an update error but would need to look at it. Eg Mozilla have a new update that won't allow selected adobe flash vc to play unless you have the latest player installed as the class it as a vunerable entrance for hackers. -------------------- |

It's all video's even emails with clips in them the clips won't work. Coast watch works, that's a live camera. My download speed is about 94. When I use google street view, which is one of my favorite pastimes on the computer these days, the streaming is slow and sometimes stalls but at least it works. Also catch up tv won't work, sometimes will play the adds but blacks out the video This post has been edited by nimrod: Oct 4 2016, 01:52 PM -------------------- Frank

That is weird sounds like a driver problems if all is working fine with the exception of videos , have you update anything of late.
also are you using Mozilla as it has had a lot of problems of late with adobe flash player driver which plays all those. who do you test speed with. I use https://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-test/...s-speed-test/1/ -------------------- |
