To try and give MY opinion, I believe it would be an extremely stable boat, a great little platform for fishing river or bay, and would cope quiet well with some chop. You would of coarse have certain limits and it would take some getting used to, cats and tri hulls behave differently to mono hulls and it takes some time to learn how to handle them properly. No doubt the price will go up quiet considerable from where it is at the moment. If it's what you would settle for I believe it would be a reasonable bay and river boat. I would be asking the seller what sort of $$$$$ he wants for it before worrying too much. -------------------- Frank

Your yoking Benny ????
A far cry from wot ewe posted about the boat ewe were after. My personal view the hull itself is a shitter esp @ 4.1 meters those hulls sit very low to the water & wash from another boat going past will make it very uncomfortable. Not the sort of boat you'd want to be taking a baby out in & the 25 hp motor on the back would be struggling to push that hull -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

hello fisho,
i spoke to the owner this morning, apparently it handles little chop not to bad he said, he said that top speed on it is around the 22 knots, im going to have a look at it tomorrow, its not what i was actually after but thinking about it last night at work i was thinking well my partner is pregnant and the little bubis due in march, ive got my almost 3 year old daughter, so after my son is born he wont be in the water or on a boat for at least 2 years, my daughter loves the water and if i take my daughter out with us it would ony be in the georges river or port hacking for a cruise and a little fishing, so that pretty much means me out in it alone, when my family gets older and little kids grow up then il upgrade again. my only concern is how far it sits out of the water but il suss that out tomorrow, and in terms of $$$ well its on at $2800 now and he said he would be happy to take $3250 for it, maybe down to $3000, so for that price its not a bad boat... he said he has taken it outside... but like i said the only major concern is how it sits in the water, what du ya gys tink ? -------------------- ............GLOBAL WARMING............

If he tells you it's his long lost cousins boat that had to go overseas or something and left without signing the papers, think twice. -------------------- Frank

Noisy hull slap in rough water. Very smooth ride in flat or gentle swell but uncomfy as when it gets a bit rough. Good buy for whoever got it for 3k
