I am going fishing and prawning on Monday 8th Feb at Duross lake on the south coast NSW.
I am taking the boat down and will fish the lake during Monday afternoon, don't know the lake at all so will be speculating at best. Tide starts flowing out around 9.30 pm or so and will start prawning shortly after this. At this stage my plans are to anchor the boat in an appropriate location and prawn from the boat, if this doesn't work out I will have to beach the boat and wade for the prawns. Been a while since I done it from a boat ( last time was with Marty at Lakes Entrance ). Looking forward to a nice meal of Flathead and Prawns,,, yum yum!!!. -------------------- Frank

Jumpy wouldn't know how to read a GPS, he goes by sun or stars direction. Funny ewe should say that Was out last sundy sum twit touched my new Z2 gps put it in demo mode & it wasn't till 2 pm that i realised why i wasn't getting any signal Spent all day till then finding places like 12 mile ect using old school pre gps jumpus tactics even found traps out in 90 fathoms all by experience of years of fushing. Wunce i had signal again downloaded SST maps to unit set auto pilot to sth canyons we hit a HUFFA degree temp break & nailed a real mans blue marlin pic deceiving fish was 120 kg in any language. Called it a day after that had we still kept fushing reckon we were in the zone for further hookup water looked awsome Patata's & Banana's can sick to there HUFFA goats & keep ketching poor mans stripped & bleck marlins
