Gday guys,
Look i spend alot on sunnies up to $300 - 500each for plastic and glass sunnies. Jump told me to have a crack at the Viva sunnies so i grabbed at pair off him and i do have to admit. and for plastic lenses they are awesome i highly recommend them i have not tested them in the deep blue. But when i do i will let you guys know !!! Lets put it this way my spotters and dirty dogs have been sitting on my dresser for 2 weeks !!! for me thats saying something !!! -------------------- Of all marlin species the pacific blue is KING. Nothing runs as fast jumps as high or goes totally ballistic like a blue. Its not that you find A BLUE - A BLUE finds you |

I've had them 12 months now & not a scratch, carry a few pair on each boat but those wide lense wuns are the best on the water

Benny they come from the same factories in china as the Shimano & all those other brands
Only prob with these glass's is that they have the name viva on them & peeps would rather pay more money so their glass's say Shimano So they've been a bit hard for the boys to sell to the shops Viva did have a sale B4 Xmas getting rid of stock shops didn't want & these glass's were on sale for $15 each I'll post it when times comes cause there'll be another sale B4 easter -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

$300- 500 for glasses? Personally I'd rather grab another Trinidad for that money. But to share a bit of info, having worked in the clothing biz here in California, the company I worked for almost licensed out the name for sun glasses. My boss told me the MOST expensive pair of tortoise framed glasses cost $12.50 to produce. The rest is mark up. So don't be a sucker buying the trendy glasses unless your cash is burning a hole in the bottom of your pocket!

Id be interested in a pair for under 20 dollars - so let me know when the sale is on again mate. I've stocked up on spare spares Marcel like Magilla Gorilla & his wittle cars in the cartoons I'm notorious @ losing or breaking sunnys but had had the same pair for 12 months now. Gave Bees a look through a pair of those big lensed wuns when I visited the tribe up @ Nelsons Bay & he wanted a pair The big lensed wuns aren't the prettiest in the range but by far the best on the water May take sum pics of the range if I remember Dont think there's to many left of any of them & boys wont be getting them in again so I may put some aside for ewe guys QUOTE I worked for almost licensed out the name for sun glasses. My boss told me the MOST expensive pair of tortoise framed glasses cost $12.50 to produce. Yeah we had a segment on wun of the current affairs programs over here in oz in regards to glass's purchased from optomotrists 5,000 % markup by the shops Says it all dosen't it ???? Gave up on buying expensive glass's cause I'd lose them all the time kinda liked the glass lensed Mako's but @ over $300 a pair it was getting a bit expensive replacing them all the time -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |
