How much son - tell em how much.

Spoiled my surprise for your birthday. Had my eye on one of those to get for your next one. Have to be the regular old salad sandwich again. You will tell me if you get sick of them, won't you.

Jumpy. You will find the lighting will be OK up to about 15-18 metres but after that you will find you want bigger more powerful lights and that's whers the real expense comes in.
Buying the initial set up is relitively cheap and you get hooked on the new toy so you don't really mind spending the extra $$$$$$$ on new powerful lights, but when the novalty wears off the thing will gather dust in the shed, just like mine did.

Good stuff Jumpy I'm dying to see some pics.
Doesn't look like it would troll very well you might have to pick up a second camera like a torpedo for that.
When's the big test?

Frank read the specs it only comes with 30 meters of cable & 5 of that will be in the boat tongue.gif

Didn't buy it for deep water it'll be used as a trolling device prob never sink it more than 10 meters

That's the way to do it. You reckon he would let me come over and buy stuff on his account smile.gif Does he want you to pay his account?
Fed is taping his spy sunglass camera to a snapper lead and doing the same thing. Gets a bit of distortion filming through the zip loc bag though.

My old one went to around 70 metres, but after 20 metres it reduced the visibility to about 2 feet ( hopeless ) so I bought another two much more powerful lights at about $180 each, and I'm talking back in about 1992 or there abouts, so a lot of money in them days.
Anyway I soon became inpatient with the hassles of playing around with it and lost so much fishing time with it, It soon got packed away with other unused items, ended up selling it to a guy down South Australia who reckoned he was going to catch record amounts of Snapper off Whyalla with it,,, never heard of the results.

For what you are using it for it will probably be suitable,, till you tire of it.
