Im going to Melbourne for my bday at the end of the month.
Staying at my cousins place which is 2 blocks from Port Phillip Bay.
While im there i was thinking of going for a Snapper fish.
Anyone know of a decent charter i should go with?
Is it a good time of year to get the massive ones?
Me thinks Bees can help me out on this one....

too early for the REDS at the moment, and why would you want to charter a seat ?.
Let me know the town you are staying and I will see If I know someone there that will take you out for a fish or two.
The dates you will be there might be handy as well.
I know a few guys down there. I can get a ride just about anywhere in Australia ( within reason ) so a good chance I may be able to put you onto someone with a boat.

BEEZ A couple of mates are planning a trip to Whyalla next year and want me to go with them.
2 weeks all up including travelling time. I estimated it cost me around $ 1000 to do the trip with fuel accomodation food bait and a few brews, I worked out I can't afford the trip.
If you want I could arrange a seat for you ?.

Frank

That's just north of St Kilda, between port melbourne and St Kilda.
I am on my way up to the houseboat on the Hawkesbury now but will see what I can do when I get back on Monday.
End of this month ? right ?.
Almost there already, you didn't give me much time.

Fil. Give my mate Dale mclelland a ring on 0400 902 492 and tell him you know me Frank " Nimrod "
and he will more then likely arrange to take you out.
He is a very busy man at the moment as he is nominated for the Liberal candidate for ISAACS but said
he will fit you in somewhere.
Don't listen to all the lies he tells you about me rolleyes.gif I,m really a good bloke hysterical.gif hysterical.gif hysterical.gif .

This is about the best I can do for you with such short notice.

Dale is a terriffic bloke and a load of fun.

I would make the connection sometime before you are ready to jump into his boat.
If you leave it till your wife has gone shopping , he may have left the ramp.

Hey Frank

Better tell your mate 2 throw a couple of milk crates into the goat unless he's planning to take the jellybean out on a raft with no sides hysterical.gif hysterical.gif

Dale ain't that much bigger then the bean, so they should both be able to give each other a leg up.
