QUOTE Geeze I am thick, and jumpy,s not much better, I forgot all about ordering the extra shirt, I remembered as soon as I got home from the shops QUOTE Really sorry Jumpy, but the blank must have had a floor in it. Na it wasn't on the floor Frank, I had it leaning up against the wall QUOTE Your right there Bees. OUCH!!! Il keep it im mind to never bend JG's rod again when i go over, no matter how much he begs me! Salty it was all Franks fault I told him to Bend it like Beckon does but he wouldn't listen to me QUOTE Which rods are we talking about. Fishing Rods Christos Oh well SHIT Happens ! I've snaped a few graphites myself but never under load allways doing what Frank did, even snaped a brand newy out of the box showing the boys how to find the rods backbone no load on the rod whatsoever, so here's a few tips for those who own graphite rods. * It's OK to load them right up they'll handle the load * Never grab the blank 1/2 way up & try loading up the tip they dont like that, you can get away with it on glass rods but not graphites. * Use the whole length of the blank to load it up that way you're spreading the load & not just loading up a certain section of the blank. Nope the rod wasn't one of my custom sticks it was one of the donated rods -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

if i may say this, when buying a brand new rod always load it up in the shop to make sure that there are no flaws in it, as this has happened to me, when i took the rod out for the fist time it broke on the fist fish and the buggers would not refund my money claiming i must have damaged it in some way

Next time I will do that. It was an after thought that I better put the Bogart name is as some people might not recognize the reference.

The Rumpus came up today and picked up his shirts (and rifle). 9 hour drive up and 9 hour drive back. Hmmmm, expensive shirts
Ruby was happy to see me, and was begging me to save her from country life. Don't let her off the leash, rumpus or she will find her way back here, and I will have to keep her. |
