It's been discussed before Jason but nothing eventuated from it.
The points I raised about the current picture are as follows. 1) The picture is blurry, speckled and has jaggies. 2) The name on it is not in keeping with the site name, at the very least the hyphen should go. Now Jumpy is probably using a tiny elcheapo blurry 640x480 monitor so he just doesn't get it. (Do you Jumpy?) First impressions are everything. -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

yeah i agree fed ,to me when i first come onto the site it just looks too plain and really old style ,there is alot of different types of sites i go onto and 9 times out of 10 if they look plain i dont bother with them ,,,this is a great site otherwise ,i just think it needs dressing up alot and that may attract alot more people as well,,,jas

There is a variety of skins that I have give you , and I have no problems if people want to change the banner either.
Just remember that the resolution most commonly used is 1024x768 and the size is 980x170 pixels -------------------- |

2 new computers and one new monitor is enough for this week mate. :lol:lol and he never asked me . Special this week is ASUS LCD Monitors model vh192 $105.00 only will stock lasts. Or a Acer 19" $129.00 then you get a $29.00 rebate back from Acer making them $100.00 only to the end of month. Also had a special on complete systems but now sold out as Intel have discontinued the I7 920 cpu. But the specs was a 24" lcd monitor Benq 2420hd with Logitech keyboard and mouse 1tb hdd wdc, pioneer 24 dvdrw,Asus P6t motherboard , 4gb ddr3 2000mhz kingston ram a Gigabyte 1tb hdmi vc card 5770 all in a coolmaster cv690 case. This include OEM version windows 7 ulimate plus Acadmic version of Office 2007.$2380.00 including gst. Now they where great computers for the Graphic and gaming people, strange thing was 1 person took the lot I had and even more, and now I cannot get anymore of the cpu and he would like more if I can do them. -------------------- |

Why an old server configuration lol and p3 but speed you say is 2700 which is the p4 unit.
If you ever want that price range. AMD Athlonx2 240 2.8G Dual-Core CPU ASUS / Gigabyte All-in-One Motherboard 2G DDR2 RAM (800Mhz) Integrated 3D Video Integrated sound 160G SATAII Hard Drive (7200RPM) DVD Burner 400W Mid-Tower Case Multimedia Keyboard & Optical Mouse Gigabyte Stereo Speakers $450.00 No Os but could do xp professional for $70.00 or window i7 home for $100.00 all include cd. or intel cheapie. Pentium Dual-Core E5300 2.5G CPU Intel G31 Chipset All-in-One Motherbaord 1G DDR2-800MHz RAM 160G SATA Hard Drive DVD Burner (support Dual-Layer) High Definition Audio Ethernet 6 x USB2.0 Port Super Slim Design Case $400.00 same with the os. These are my bottom end which businesses go for as workstations anyhow specs are nice if you are after a server unit. -------------------- |
