Needed to get some salt air into my sinusus so went down to Foreshore ramp and flicked some soft plastics from the beach near the ramp ( not sure if you are allowed to fish there but no security came near me. Spent half hour with dozens of casts with a couple of different plastics with only the one touch which was a toad fish that flicked off while still in the water. At least I had some casting to keep my wrist nimble.

Have never used plastic, always used sea cabbage for nigers and fresh nippers and worms but was along time ago.
Maybe because I lived with my parents on the reserve at woy woy and only had like 50' to go and pump and a kilometer up the road to get the sea cabbage fresh from the drain at the other end of the reserve . Now they were the days you could fish without permits and could get a feed almost every day with a bit of relaxation included. -------------------- ![]() |
