Hey Jumpy what's going on with Fishnet deleting your posts? I didn't see anything wrong with them, I guess you're not protected anymore. Fed. He never was PROTECTED the fact was he remained within the rules of the forum so I seen no reason to remove OR edit his posts. I haven't had the reigns of Fishnet now for about 8 months, and the site is dying a slow death, like many other web sites. -------------------- Frank

It certainly has changed a lot there and I have to agree a slow death appears to be inevitable.

People are not posting as they used to, why I ask?????????? is it because of face book if so why????????? Paul Poly. Unlike most fishing forums Fishnet is a web SITE that has a forum and not simply a talk back forum with nothing else. Fishnet forums are dying a slow death and only gets about 35 posts per day, these days compared to the hundreds a day of bygone days. However the remainder of the site is still going strong and gets enough viewers to keep the sponsors and admin happy. The forums are about 5 percent of the site turnover but costs more than any other section of the site to opperate. Fishnet Admin would be happy to see the forums die completely. -------------------- Frank

beacause facebook is interactive, you can share pictures and storys straight from your phone, comment live and so much easier to keep up with it. You only have to see and read as much opr as little as you want.
Its just the way its all going, forums soon will be only for the old school dies hards and will fade into the obis like the BBS did when the internet grew... |

That is the problem with facebook. 99% of the time it makes no sense and is of very little use.
But it allows people to post pointless crap that enters there mind instantly. Facebook will probably improve and become quite good just about the same time the next big thing turns up. BTW what else does fishnet have to offer if only 5% is the forum. The classifieds are terrible pro reports often not updated anymore. Library fish files ect all waste of space. |

Would you like the forum here to be updated to the latest script which is 3.4.4 which allows you to log on via phone and interlink with facebook and twitter etc. if you want to see what the design would look like have a look at
http://adminspot.net/ The last time I offered this I was shot down. or better still I will make it on the old domain which I still own so all can see it as a live unit just won't be interlinked . -------------------- |
