My machine came good again so I will put up with it for a while longer. Think I must have had a hacker inside it or a virus or something. -------------------- Frank

With technology growing ever so fast, it's scary..
I'm feeling kind of outdated on my machine but can't afford to upgrade (4gb ram, 500gb harddrive, 2.4ghz i5, 1gb graphics) but it is perfect for what i do so for the sake of feeling outdated i'll keep it haha |

ill stick top a few hillbilly tunes..
Speaking of computer upgrades... got 2 bloody laptops, 5-6yr old, both work fine for surfing and emails etc, but with the new SLR and big images they are starting to show their age.. Dont think id buy another laptop and they are still fine to travel with, but wouldnt mid a fast desktop with massive HDD to start playing with the images on... Might have to wait for OZ's next special... Though I Gotta stop spending all my money on toys and fishing gear and start putting some away to buy toys and fishing gear for spud junior ;) |

Though I Gotta stop spending all my money on toys and fishing gear and start putting some away to buy toys and fishing gear for spud junior ;) Was looking for OZ's last post of specials but couldn't find it. No way i could ever use 1 terabit of space, I have 80 gig on this machine and still got 37 gig free space, got 500 gig on the lap top ( which I have turned on about 5 times in 12 months ) and couldn't imagine ever using anywhere near that. The RAM is handy to have and 8-16 of ram would be nice for playing games, rally cars etc. -------------------- Frank

the SLR take pics that are around 10-20mb each and in a night its not hard to take 400+ pics which equalls ummmm, (calculator) about 6gb say so it doesnt take long to add up.. once ive picked the good ones i want to keep I reduce the size of the rest so they are a normal size and thats where i need the ram and something a bit faster as it takes ages.. Havnt even started playing with photoshop yet!
Fed is on the ball!!! thanks! |
