Yep its plastic, green, 15ft and being picked up this friday.
The kayak has done well for a while but its a bit small and its time for something a little bigger....The coleman 32kg plastic fantastic is going to be fitted out this weekend. 40lb minn kota riptide(need to make a bracket) can use up to a 4hp 4st with single outrigger or 4hp 2st without...Rod locker-have already seen a mates set-up, battery tray, sounder, tackle tray storage, esky-for fishing essential refreshment and finally a waterproof compartment. Sorry if I got you excited Poly-not quite a polycraft-not yet. anyways keeping the dream alive fellas! -------------------- AAAAHhhhhhhh, I just wanna fish!!!!

Thanks Frank, I'v already got the motor mount sorted, everything else is pretty straight forward. I'v decided to run a single outrigger on the engine side and have seen one on a US site that allows it to swing up and out of the way when not in use by using a scotty HD rod holder.
Cheers Poly, will post some pics up once I collect the canoe and hope to complete the fitout this weekend. JG, no its not the type of plastic you're thinking of, its special like plate plastic called ram-X -------------------- AAAAHhhhhhhh, I just wanna fish!!!!

Yes, have a 40lb minn kota, will move me along nicely. Canoe states on compliance plate it can take up to a 5hp-would you be able to turn it at full throttle?
Started fit-out lats this arvo, engine mount made first coat of poly estapol has been sprayed on. Sounder installed with mount sitting below gunnel-important for no hook-ups when loading. Cables run in aussie duct. Will spend another hour or so later tonight once kids r asleep and post up a pic or 2. -------------------- AAAAHhhhhhhh, I just wanna fish!!!!

Nah, no floatation bags poly. The seats are filled with foam would be enough to keep her afloat if I attempted a barrel roll.
Am thinking of removing front seat and making a storage box/seat for batteries, esky and waterproof storage-could double up as a casting platform. Frank, I might take you up on your offer/welding skills to make a more sturdy mount in time-the last photo I have attached is my mates mount so you can see how his looks.,
