Went fishing in the Bay today with my dad and son.....Arrived at the bay by lunchtime....weather was fantastic.... smile1.gif

headed straight out near the heads..water was calm with approx 1 metre swell....not much activity at all... mad.gif

Went back into the bay, with very little action anywhere....was planning to stay out until sunset, so i wasn't too fussed... smile1.gif

by around 4pm, we started to get some activity......lots of big tailor hitting hard....we managed to bag 10 large ones with some upto 50cm....yummy.....we also managed to catch 5 Trevally, 5 bream, 1 Tarwhine, 1 flathead around 50cm and lots and lots of throwback snapper....We did lose a lot of hooks from the large tailors biting off.... smile1.gif smile1.gif

But a fantastic day out with a good feed.........you gotta love fishing..... smile1.gif smile1.gif

Seems 2b the norm this year, brurry wittle shits are everywhere even on the outer reefs
I'd be lucky to have caught more than a dozen legal wuns this year & most of them have been on plastics

Those bloody Tailor have been everywhere the last few weeks.
Theyre almost as bad as the Leather Jackets the way they keep pinching my gear.
After they took all of my rusty, blunt hooks (and a bunch of decent ones), i resorted to thin single strand wire and caught that many of them that all my neighbours will be happy for a while.
